Our National Tour of ‘Wild’ has begun!
We are thrilled to announce that our new production Wild has officially begun it’s national tour this Autumn!
The tour opened with a sold out performance at Thimblemill Library on 8th October, right here in the Black Country, where it all began.
Our captivating show weaves real stories from over 70 people together with original music and immersive soundscapes to explore what ‘Wild’ means to us, showcasing the rich storytelling that is at the heart of Black Country Touring’s productions. Building on the success of our 2024 tour across the Black Country, this national tour will take our work to wider audiences across the rural touring network, demonstrating the universal resonance of local stories and celebrating the shared experiences that connect us.
The tour is a part of Create Tour Connect (CTC); a new innovative partnership project commissioning, developing and touring theatre across the rural touring network in England. Led by Applause, CTC addresses the lack of suitable performance work for contemporary rural audiences by supporting the development and touring of new work and connecting this with a network of partners dedicated to small-scale touring.
We invite you to come and experience this vibrant, moving, powerful performance this October and November in a community venue near you. Join us on a journey of emotions from exhilarating fear to childlike joy - it will leave you wondering... what is your Wild?
