Frances & Steve Exit Stage Left…
Last month we bid a fond and final farewell to Frances and Steve, who exited stage left after an incredible 28 years with BCT. With the help of our extended BCT family and friends, we marked their departure with a surprise celebration in their honour.
They were greeted with a standing ovation from a sea of smiling faces, serenaded by a choir, and treated to a bespoke poem written and performed by Dreadlock Alien. The evening continued with a host of special guest appearances from past BCT productions, culminating in a high-energy finale by the Rajasthan Heritage Brass Band.
It was a truly joyful, special and fitting send-off for two deeply liked, loved, and respected people.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who came along and helped us give Frances and Steve the send-off they deserve, with special thanks to our friends Matt, Dean, and Abigail from Infamous Arts, Rochi Rampal, Graeme Rose, Vimal Korpal, Jack Trow, Derek Nisbett, John Flitcroft, Bharti Patel, Deb Justice, and Dreadlock Alien for their time, effort, and wonderful contributions to the evening.
