‘Return to Sender’ comes to a close
Last Friday we concluded our Summer run of performances Return to Sender at the Black Country Living Museum - a heartfelt, funny, entertaining short show exploring migration, identity and belonging in 1960s Britain.
The show was developed from the stories of the local Gujarati community, and was presented in partnership with The Black Country Living Museum, Jaivant Patel Company and Black Country Touring across the five Summer Lates evenings in August. It brought four Black Country Touring performers together with historic characters from the Museum to create a rich, entertaining, thought-provoking show that reflected the lived experiences of local people and offered fresh perspectives on our shared history.
We would like to thank everyone who came along and supported the performances, and our brilliant production team, partners and performers. We hope you enjoyed experiencing the show as much as we did.
