Big Family Theatre Weekend

Come and join us for a jam-packed summer’s weekend of performances and activities for all the family!

Head over to Haden Hill House and Park in Cradley Heath for the Big Family Theatre Weekend - a two-day festival featuring a variety of outdoor theatre shows, puppetry, street performers, interactive games, hands-on circus workshops and more, for children and adults alike.

Prepare to be dazzled by the wacky flying contraptions and gloriously groomed moustaches of “The Wrong Brothers”, play twister and croquet with the Mad Hatter and the Queen of Hearts in “Wonderland of Games”, and don’t forget to join “Laika the Space Dog” on her out-of-this-world journey of a lifetime!

Dates: Saturday 16th – Sunday 17th August 2025
Times: 12pm – 4pm each day
Location: Haden Hill House and Park, Cradley Heath, B64 7JU

No tickets or bookings required – just turn up and join in!

A street performer dressed in a textured tan suit and matching cap holding up a puppet hot air balloon. In front of him is a puppet doll sitting in a makeshift doll house.
Two women in vibrant red costumes pose next to a cart decorated with colourful paintings of books. Behind the cart is a performer dressed as the Mad Hatter, with bright red hair and a top hat.
A puppeteer wearing a grey flat cap and tan jacket animates two puppets: one is a boy in a grey beanie hat and a light blue hoodie, and the other is a large green fish with textured scales and bright eyes.

The Big Family Theatre Weekend is free to attend, but costs a lot to put on!
